X-ray Machine RMI 540
The Eagle PI RMI 540 x-ray inspection system is hygienically constructed to sanitary design for superior bone and contaminant detection in the poultry industry, where daily sanitation and hygiene requirements are stringent.
The Eagle PI RMI 540 x-ray inspection system is hygienically constructed to sanitary design for superior bone and contaminant detection in the poultry industry, where daily sanitation and hygiene requirements are stringent.
This Eagle x-ray machine incorporates a wide belt ideal for multilane applications to help you keep pace with volume while ensuring contaminant detection for raw and unpackaged products. By combining our breakthrough PXT™ detector, processors can obtain much higher resolution images than previously possible. This results in improved detection of smaller bones and contaminants with fewer false rejects increasing productivity while reducing unnecessary and costly rework while ensuring food quality assurance.
The Eagle X-Ray RMI 540 has a unique curtainless design and incorporates an innovative inclined infeed and out-feed conveyor. This innovative design enables fast and convenient visual inspection during cleaning while also reducing the number of surfaces a product comes into contact with during processing. It also has an easy-to-remove belt for faster and more efficient washdown‒keeping production lines running longer for optimum output.

PXT™’s radically enhanced x-ray inspection detector provides unmatched performance for the next generation of food processing and delivers superior bone and contaminant detection. PXT™ enables processors to obtain much higher resolution images by capturing more detailed data about the product being inspected than has previously been possible. Beyond that, with the new PXT™ technology you will ultimately get a superior return on your investment, including:
Eagle’s Material Discrimination X-ray technology enables organic and inorganic materials to be differentiated, providing food processors with unprecedented contaminant detection capabilities. Food processors rely on Eagle’s superior MDX technology to detect foreign bodies previously unseen by x-ray or other conventional inspection technologies in difficult product applications.
SimulTask™ PRO advanced imaging software simultaneously detects contaminants and performs multiple quality control checks. With the highest grayscale range in the industry (0-65,535) it delivers high resolution images with deeper contrast, exceptional clarity and extraordinary detail.
Eagle’s TraceServer™ x-ray software stores valuable production data and machine status information from one or more of Eagle’s x-ray machines and consolidates it into a single centralized database. The software seamlessly records inspection processes, which in turn contributes to your ability to meet established internal quality standards. It is scalable to meet your company’s needs and can connect up to 32 x-ray machines at once, making product traceability effortless.
Superior x-ray inspection technology provides outstanding detection of physical contaminants regardless of their size, shape or location within a product.
Find and reject harmful bone fragments, 2 mm or less, in various meat and seafood applications.
Capable of metal detection including stainless steel, ferrous and non-ferrous metals in a broad range of applications.
Mass and weight measurement with x-ray technology provides an additional layer of process control and due diligence to ensure a high-quality.
In addition to providing industry-leading technology and unparalleled reliability, Eagle provides highly-responsive support and service coverage globally, through a network of expert partners, supported by a core team of regionally-based Eagle experts.
RMI 400 with PXT™ enhances bone detection (down to 1 mm) and reduces false rejects in raw poultry breasts by accurately rejecting contaminated product from the line.
X-ray inspection in canned fish finds contaminants even through metalized packaging.
